Confidential. Free. For everyone. 052 625 25 00

I didn’t think something like that would happen to me.

Have you or someone close to you experienced physical, psychological or sexual violence? Have you been physically attacked or are you receiving threats? Regardless of whether you have personally experienced violence or witnessed violence: it usually comes unexpectedly, causes feelings such as helplessness, anger or fear and completely changes your life. In such situations, we at the Service for Victims of Violence support and advise you – from psychologically overcoming the experience of violence to resolving legal issues and even arranging temporary accommodation in shelters.

We are here for you if

Domestic Violence

  • Has your partner beaten you?
  • Is your child threatening you?
  • Has a family member insulted, harassed, hurt or pressured you into doing something?
  • Is someone close to you a victim of domestic violence?

Sexual violence

  • Have you been forced into sexual acts?
  • Have you experienced sexual harassment (e.g., through words, gestures, touching, or messages) at work/in your free time/at school?
  • Have you been raped or sexually assaulted?
  • Is someone close to you a victim of sexual violence?

Violence against children and young people

  • Are you being beaten or hit by your parents, relatives or other people?
  • Has anyone threatened, insulted or blackmailed you online, at school, in your free time or at home?
  • Has anyone forced you to perform sexual acts?
  • Do you know someone who is a victim of violence?

General information about violence

  • Are you a victim of social coercion (out-of-family placement)?
  • Are you a victim of forced marriage or human trafficking?

This is how we work.

We will advise you:

We will help you:

  • process the experience of violence and its associated psychological consequences,

  • seek professional, psychological and legal support,
  • seek temporary shelter.

We explain:

  • how you can take the next steps,
  • what financial rights you can claim,
